Questions, Answered.

Whether you’re new to gymnastics or a seasoned meet-day parent, here’s what families ask us most.

Getting Started

What ages do you coach?

We welcome children from 18 months to 18 years — from preschool classes and open gym to competitive teams. Babies under 18 months are welcome at free Tummy Time on Wednesday mornings.

Are your coaches certified?

Yes. Every coach is USA Gymnastics Safety-Certified and background-checked. Our head coaches include a former national team head coach and an SEC champion. Meet the coaches.

Is gymnastics suitable for beginners?

Absolutely. Many of our athletes start with zero experience. Our coaches focus on fundamentals and gradual, step-by-step progression.

Can my child try a class before enrolling?

Yes. The first class is free, with no obligation. Book a free trial.

How do I enroll?

Enroll online through our Parent Portal, or call the front desk at 865-816-3031 for schedules and pricing.

What should my child wear?

Comfortable athletic clothes without zippers or buttons, hair tied back and no jewelry. Gymnastics is done barefoot.

Can I watch my child’s class?

Yes. Our parent viewing area lets you watch every class.

Programs & Teams

Which class is right for my child?

Our programs are organized by age and interest. If you’re unsure, choose “help me choose” on the free trial form and we’ll recommend a class.

Do you have classes for boys?

Yes. PowerZone combines boys gymnastics and ninja training, and boys and girls train together on our Trampoline & Tumbling team.

Do you offer tumbling for cheerleaders and dancers?

Yes. Tumbling Academy teaches cartwheels through back handsprings and aerials, with small classes and plenty of spotting.

How does my child join a competitive team?

Team placement is by evaluation. Xcel is open to athletes ages 5 and up; Compulsory levels are reached through our invitation-only pre-team program. Compare our teams or request an evaluation.

What is the difference between Xcel and Compulsory?

Compulsory levels use set routines and a more demanding schedule. Xcel offers personalized routines, a lighter training load, capped meet fees and the option to compete fewer than four events. Learn about Xcel.

Can you guarantee a college scholarship?

No — and no gym honestly can. College coaches make those decisions. We provide great coaching, honest assessments and real guidance. Read our college guidance.

Tuition & Policies

Is there a contract?

No. Enrollment is month to month.

Are there any fees besides tuition?

There is a $35 annual anniversary fee. Competitive teams also have meet and leotard costs, which we review with each family before joining a team. See all policies.

Do you offer discounts?

Yes. A second weekly class is 10% off, and sibling discounts are available.

What if my child misses a class?

Students may schedule one makeup class per month.

How do I drop a class?

Requests must be made in writing — by email or a handwritten note delivered to our office. Phone requests or messages through a coach can’t be accepted, and tuition continues until written notice is received.

Requests received on the 1st–15th take effect at the end of the current month; requests received on the 16th or later take effect at the end of the following month. Before you drop, talk to us — we can often find a better class time or program.

Parties, Open Gym & Events

When are birthday parties available?

Saturdays from 12 to 8 PM, for up to 40 kids. Packages start at $280. See party packages.

What is open gym?

Supervised drop-in play for ages 18 months and up, $12 per child per hour. Members and non-members are welcome, and kids under 18 months play free. See open gym hours.

Do you offer Parents’ Night Out?

Yes. Parents’ Night Out and seasonal events are posted in the Parent Portal and on our Facebook page.

Do you sell gift certificates?

Yes — for classes, special events or TEG gear. Call 865-816-3031 to purchase.
