TEG team athletes celebrating National Gymnastics Day 2026

Competitive Teams

Three Ways to Compete.

Each path is coached with the same standard. The difference is the schedule, the commitment and the goals your family chooses.

01

Xcel

Bronze · Silver · Gold · Platinum · Diamond · Sapphire

Real competition with personalized routines and a lighter training load. Open to athletes ages 5 and up.

Best for: athletes who want to compete and still have time for school, friends and other activities.

About Xcel

02

Compulsory & Optional

USA Gymnastics Levels 2 – 10

The traditional development pathway, led by Coach Anatoli Toropov and Coach Lisa Collins.

Best for: dedicated athletes building toward the highest levels of the sport.

About Compulsory & Optional

03

Trampoline & Tumbling

Boys & girls · Local to Elite

A fast-growing sport with its own national pathway. TEG T&T athletes compete at the national and elite levels.

Best for: fearless athletes who love air time.

The Pathway

How Athletes Join a Team.

01

Recreational Classes

Most athletes start in recreational classes, where coaches see their strength, focus and love for the sport.

02

Mighty Top Stars

An invitation-only program for ages 3–5 — the first step toward competitive gymnastics.

03

Top Stars Pre-Team

Invitation-only training that builds the skills required to compete. Athletes move up when coaches know they’re ready to succeed.

04

Team

Compulsory, Optional, Xcel or T&T — with an honest assessment and a clear next step every season.
