Questions to Ask Any Gym
Whether you are choosing a first class or thinking about a change, these questions will help you compare programs clearly. We’re happy to answer every one of them.
- Who will actually coach my child day to day? Ask for names and experience — not just the head coach’s résumé.
- What are your safety credentials? Are coaches USA Gymnastics Safety-Certified and background-checked?
- Can you show documented results at my child’s level?
- What is the total yearly cost? Include tuition, annual fees, meet fees, travel and leotards.
- Is there a contract or a release fee? How do you leave if it isn’t the right fit?
- How many hours per week will this level require — next year?
- Which of your athletes have competed in college, and did they train with you?
